The delightful traditional village of Viñuela is situated 45 km from Málaga and 19 km from the coast at Torre del Mar. The village was named after the vines grown in the area and it features a 16th Century church and a number of archaeological sites. The village lies in close proximity to Lake Viñuela, a man-made reservoir which dominates the beautiful local landscape.
A relatively small village, Viñuela boasts its own state of the art medical centre, a popular local restaurant and a number of shops including a supermarket, a chemist and a bank and it is a popular centre for ex-pats and Spanish alike.
