Key features
Excellent access and great location
Spacious, versatile accommodation
Perfect layout for a small hotel or guest house
Ample space for the creation of gardens and terraces
Fantastic far reaching views of the mountains and countryside
Situation and Outside space
Located close to both Sayalonga and Competa, access to the property is directly from the main road and through a gated entrance. The driveway leads both to the large parking area and to the front of the house.
The pool area is to one side of the house and will accommodate a large 70 m² free form pool with plenty of room for the creation of lots of terrace/seating areas.
The land extends to 12,000 m² (approx) and it slopes gently away from the main house. As the house has already been registered as a Casa Rural, it would be possible to develop the land with the addition of wooden chalets for use as rental accommodation.
The magnificent views can be enjoyed from everywhere and this could be a beautiful location in which to spend a relaxing holiday or a great base from which to explore the coast and the countryside both of which are within easy reach.
Living space
Main House
The main house has been built in order to comply with the regulations allowing its use as a Casa Rural including having been pre fitted for emergency lighting, the inclusion of wider than average doorways and the installation of a three phase electricity supply.
One cannot help but be impressed by the grand entrance to the house with a terrace area leading to an attractive brick archway and then into the large entrance hall (5.2m x 2.2m).
All of the rooms are of a good size and to the left of the entrance hall and extending the full length of the building is the spacious lounge area (8.1m x 5.1m) which will be fitted with a log burning stove.
To the right of the entrance hall are the fully tiled kitchen (4.7m x 3.5m) and the dining area (4.7m x 4.5m).
The stunning double fronted aspect of the house is complemented beautifully by large bay windows which help to give the whole house a fabulous light and airy feeling.
From the entrance hall a wide, open staircase leads up to the second floor.
There are two cloakrooms/wcs (3.0m x 1.7m and 2.9m x 1.5m) on the ground floor either side of the staircase.
The stairs from the entrance hall lead up to a good sized landing and hallway from which there is access to a semi-circular balcony with spectacular views of the lovely scenery.
Either side of the access to the balcony are two rooms (both 2.1m x 1.5m) which could be used as offices or for storage.
The hallway also allows access to the following accommodation:
- Bedroom 1 (4.4m x 3.0m) with en suite bathroom (2.7m x 1.7m).
- Bedroom 2 (4.5m x 3.2m) with en suite bathroom (3.1m x 1.7m).
- Bedroom 3 (4.4m x 3.0m) with en suite bathroom (2.7m x 2.0m).
- Bedroom 4 (4.1m x 3.2m) with en suite bathroom (3.1m x 1.7m).
Garage/Apartment
Next to the main house is the garage (30 m² approx) which has a large room above it (76 m² approx). This could easily be converted into a self contained apartment with a garage and utility room beneath it. Alternatively, the entire building could be converted into a separate dwelling. Either way, this would provide ideal accommodation for the owners to live in. |
