Located only an hour from Malaga airport and half an hour from the coast in famed walking country close to the Natural Park of the Sierras Almijara and Tejeda, this property is ideally situated for rural tourism. If you follow the track for 1.9 km from the main road through Sedella you will reach The Orange Grove nestling in the river valley and with views of the magestic La Maroma mountain. You will find yourself in an oasis of tranquillity surrounded by the sound of the birds and of the river that winds its way through the property. The land has more than a hundred fruit trees, primarily orange but also lemon, nispero, walnut, fig, pear, apple, pomegranate and plum. Steps built from stone and wood wind down to the two rivers (one of which has water all year round) where there are idylic spots for relaxing, watching the wildlife and freshening up in the dip-pools in the river. The soil is fertile here and so there are vegetable patches providing organic produce for the business. Around the house are terraces for relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere and also a swimming pool.

In the grounds is a wooden chalet which is close to the river (only a few steps to an early moring dip!) and surrounded by orange trees - an absolute delight when the trees are in blossom. It has its own terrace, an internal sunroom, a combined living room and kitchen with a wood-burning stove, a bedroom and a bathroom.
The main house has lots of character with features such as old rustic doors, beamed ceilings and natural stone floors which create the feel of a traditional old country house even though the property has been recently built. The double front doors open into the combined living, dining and kitchen areas designed to allow convivial cooking and eating for the family or for guests. There is also a guest cloakroom on this floor.
Upstairs there is accommodation for 8 people arranged as follows:
- 2 self contained studio apartments with kitchen areas and attractively tiled shower rooms and each with its own door to a private terrace
- a double room with ensuite shower room, a fridge and tea and coffee making facilities - it has access to the large roof terrace that looks down to the river and across to the mountains
- a double room with ensuite bathroom currently used by the owner
All the bedrooms (22.5m², 21m², 21m² & 19.5m²) and bathrooms are very spacious and tastefully decorated.
