Situation and Outside space
Situated in a tranquil location on the edge of the natural park, the easy access to the property is via a 0.5km unmade road in excellent condition and then a short, concrete road to a gravelled parking area.
The main entrance to the villa is approached by way of a sloping, concrete driveway. The striking rustic wooden front door surrounded by a Moorish brick archway is a real feature and directly outside the main entrance is a lovely covered terrace/seating area.
This terrace continues around the house and provides ample seating/dining space which can be accessed from the front door or from the living room. The villa is arranged over two levels and, being situated on the upper level, the terrace has the most amazing views of the mountains and the beautiful surrounding countryside as well at the Mediterranean Sea in the distance.
The secluded pool area has an attractive terraced seating area to the side and the wonderful views can also be enjoyed from here. The many mature pine and olive trees around the property enhance the privacy of the villa.
A useful wooden storage shed is situated on the gravelled area and there is also a log store.
Living space
The villa is set out over two floors and the main entrance is into a gorgeous, spacious open plan living/dining area. This lovely, light, airy room has the benefit of a log burning stove and air conditioning and there are patio doors out onto the terrace area. The views from the living area are magnificent and can be enjoyed year round both from inside the villa and from the terrace area.
The dining area leads into the beautiful, fully fitted kitchen which has high quality dark wood units and granite worktops. A prominent feature of this whole open plan area is the delightful Moorish arched breakfast bar which divides the kitchen and dining areas.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a really useful utility room (1.2m x 3.0m) which has a sink and plumbing for a washing machine and a door that leads out to the rear of the property.
From the living room there is access through an archway to a hallway and two bedrooms and a bathroom.
One bedroom (3.0m x 3.4m) is approached via an inner hallway/dressing area. The bedroom has a ceiling fan and fitted wardrobes with beautiful rustic wooden doors which match the style of the doors throughout the villa.
The large, fully tiled bathroom (2.2m x 2.8m) has a fabulous corner bath with a shower.
The second bedroom (3.0m x 3.6m) also has fitted wardrobes and the additional advantage of air conditioning.
From the upper hallway there are stairs down to the ground floor of the villa and a lower hallway from which the following accommodation can be accessed:
The third bedroom (3.0m x 3.1m) which has a ceiling fan and a fully tiled en suite shower room (1.0m x 1.6m).
A large room (3.1m x 5.1m) bathed in light from the superb patio doors that stretch the width of the room and from which there is access to a covered terrace. This room is currently used as an office/showroom but could easily be adapted into a further double bedroom with en suite bathroom.
A magnificent sun lounge (3.1m x 8.7m) with fabulous glass curtains the length and breadth of the room which afford the most incredible views and access to the pool area. This is a truly wonderful room from which to watch the sunset whilst relaxing with friends. |
