Situation
Just a short drive from Competa along tarmac and then concrete road bring you to the villa. There’s a very short track to the house itself. You can even walk into the village in about 30-40 minutes when you’re feeling energetic.
The property has lovely views of the surrounding mountains and you can also see the white villages of Competa, Canillas de Albaida and Corumbela.
Outside space
As you approach the villa there is a parking space and then the drive continues down to the garage and further parking areas.
In front of the house there is a large terrace area which is attractively divided into different areas. There’s a barbeque, sun terraces and also areas that are shaded in the summer by the vines which grow above.
You can walk around the side of the house to a further gravelled terrace and seating area at the rear of the property. All around there are established gardens planted with a range of trees, shrubs and flowers. There is ample space to have a pool built if required.
Reached from inside the house there is a large roof terrace (7.1m x 4.1m) which of course has excellent views all around.
Inside space
This is a really spacious house, and every room, including the bathrooms are a good size. There is plenty of light and the wide, shallow staircases also give a feeling of space. Most of the floors are tiled in traditional terracotta and the ceilings are sloping with wood beams.
The accommodation is arranged as follows:
- double doors from the front terrace into the kitchen which is fully fitted with a range of wood fronted units
