| DESCRIPTION : |
The house is situated a short drive from Competa along a tarmac road and then 1km of unmade up road. A very pretty entrance area leads to the guest house on the right and to the main house on the left. The guest house (known as a ‘casita' or ‘little house in' Spanish) has its own fenced plot with an arched entrance into a gravelled and covered sitting area. The house consists of a studio style kitchen and living area which converts into a bedroom plus a shower room. The current owners let this successfully.
In front of the main house there are established trees and a roman style plunge pool with lovely views to the hills. Doors lead into an internal courtyard which provides a sheltered outdoor space in winter and can be shaded in summer. From the courtyard there are two double bedrooms with a shared bathroom between. Because they have their own entrance these rooms could be let if required. Another door leads to the dining room then to a shower room and bedroom opening to a palm filled patio with a barbeque area. The lounge has a feature bamboo lined ceiling in traditional Spanish style and leads into a rustic kitchen.
This house has been carefully designed by its current owners to provide flexible living space and maximum flow of air throughout so that it stays cool in the summer months. |
