Do you need a house sitter for when you are away or do you have your house up for sale, and waiting for new owners?

• We can keep your house warm and looking lived in, also assist with the "viewing" of your property and more especially when you are selling, first impressions are very important.
• Instead of a cold and damp house, your potential buyers will be welcomed with the fragrance of fresh coffee and a bread cooking in the oven.

As house owners you can fully depend on us (see references) and depending on what you want, we will:

• look after your pets lovingly,
• see to it that your swimming pool is clean
• your garden is looked after
• your house is kept in top condition.
• communicate with locals, for example your suppliers of gas, electricity or water.

We are a Dutch couple at the age of 60 years. Our children have all left home and we have 5 grandchildren. We are both in a pre-pension position. Cees's professional background is; 20 years of Governmental service and the past 10 years as an independent Consultant. Toos has worked as a Ballet Teacher and has had her own Ballet School and later in Children's Care.

Cees is studying Cultural Anthropology and Toos has taken up Aquarelle painting again. Together we love travelling. House and pet sitting is for us an interesting way of being in and experiencing different countries. In the past few years our enthusiasm has grown and therefore we are willing to housesit anywhere in Europe.

We are both very neat and non-smoking, serious and love peaceful settings. English is for us a second language – especially Toos as she lived in Western Australia for 18 years – French and German for local contacts will not present a problem. Also the house-sits we have done, looking after swimming pools, gardens, pets (even chickens) have all gone extremely well. More important we enjoy it immensely.

We have had house sitting experiences in Europe in different seasons, not always in favourable tourist conditions and in lots of different settings. We have had long, as well as short term assignments. All has been very satisfactory for both parties. Costs involved regarding utilities etc. are negotiable.

• Spain: - Andalucía (Archez, Competa) looked after 2 dogs, several cats and swimming pool, also assisted in the sale of the property (2008).

• Greece:- The island of Paros, The island of Paxos
